Matteo Cressoni, MAK Wheels sponsored driver, completes the ACO Asian championship at Yas Marina with the Porsche 992 GT3-R #60 from Proton Competition
The Italian driver fought hard in the final double-header event in the Middle East, always behind the wheel of the Porsche 992 GT3-R #60 from Proton Competition, alongside Alessio Picariello and Claudio Schiavoni.

The Italian-Belgian team had a solid championship, placing in the Top 10 in Malaysia and Dubai within the fiercely competitive GT3 class. The experience gained will certainly be beneficial in preparation for the European Le Mans Series, which will kick off in less than 50 days in Barcelona, Spain.

Matteo Cressoni stated in a note: „It’s not the weekend we hoped to have. I’m still happy with how the championship went; it’s always great to race with so many cars on track and against such a high level of competitors. The ALMS has prepared us well for the coming months; now we look ahead, ready for the start of the FIA WEC in less than three weeks.“
