MAK Wheels sponsored driver Matteo Cressoni inaugurates the 2025 European Le Mans Series season with a podium finish. The Italian made the difference in the selective LMGT3 by taking third place in the gripping 4h Barcelona, the first of the six stages that make up the most important continental championship reserved for GTs and prototypes.

After two days of testing, Friday’s free practice and Saturday’s qualifying, the #60 Proton Competition Porsche 992 GT3-R battled throughout the entire test against the best contending until the last lap for success.

The Proton Competition bearer said upon returning from Catalonia, “Good race! It was not easy to catch up, unfortunately a yellow flag at the wrong time did not allow us to come close complete our plan perfectly. The guys did an excellent job in the ten days we were in Spain, we improved a lot and we can be confident ahead of the next rounds.”
