MAK present at the ICE Challenge final: the Italian ice speed championship!

The magical night of Saint-Rhemy-En-Bosses has written its long-awaited verdicts: Luciano Cobbe is the winner of ICE Challenge – Italian Speed on Ice Championship 2025. The driver from Trentino, at the driver’s seat of the Ford Focus WRC with which Mikko Hirvonen raced in the 2009 WRC, concretized the weekend of a lifetime on the circuit of La Rosiere, in Val d’Aosta, by climbing back up to the top of the ranking.

Cobbe was the only one to win two rounds out of the five scheduled in the calendar put together by BMG Motor Events, organizer of the championship in cooperation with ACI Sport’s Off-Road and Cross Country Rally Commission. The unpredictable evolution of the last three night heats sanctioned the final verdicts. An appointment, the one that closed the season, that confirmed the sporting value of an incredible year, where everything was on the line until the last moment, in the truest meaning of the word.
